Background

Quintus Pompey is the commander of the Tyhrrenian Fleet, Neptune's Scourge. He is the son of Pompey Magnus.


During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 4 Stealing from Saturn played by Rick Warden

Quintus Pompey and Volpe torture Appius to find out where the Roman gold is. Once he finds out, he tells his father and Pompey orders him to go to Rome to find the gold. Quintus takes Volpe and a group of Syrians with him to Rome. They tell the Senior Legionary they are corpse collectors in order to be let into the city gates. They then go to the home of Lucius Vorenus and ask him where the gold is. Lucisu tells them he doesn't know, and they are about to cut Niobe, when Titus Pullo arrives at Lucius' home. Titus distracts the Syrians by throwing coins into the air and Lucius and Titus kill the Syrians and Volpe. Quintus is taken prisoner and Lucius tells Titus to bring him to Caesar and tell Caesar where the gold is. Titus brings Quintus to Caesar who tells him he is to be returned to his father with a peace offer. Quintus returns to Pompey and gives him the peace offer.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 10 Triumph played by Rick Warden

A very drunk Quintus bangs on the door of Servilia of the Junii's home and demands to see Marcus Junius Brutus. He is brought inside when Servilia hears him swear to get revenge on Caesar. He moves in and spends time with Servilia and reads her anti-Caesar propaganda draft she has written and returns to sobriety. He along with Cassius are present when Brutus angrily enters his home and asks to speak to Servilia.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 12 Kalends of February played by Rick Warden

Servilia and her anti-Caesar conspirators hold a meeting where they discuss how to kill Caesar. Casca is weary of attacking Caesar with Lucius around, who Quintus Pompey calls a son of a whore and Brutus describes Lucius to Servilia. Brutus demands that Caesar's murder be committed on Senate grounds and the others agree.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 1 Passover played by Rick Warden

Quintus and a group of armed men chase after Mark Antony after he leaves the Senate. Mark Antony goes to Servilia's home to offer a truce and when he sees Quintus Pompey in the room, he demands he leave due to Quintus' attempt that morning to murder him. Brutus insists that no order was made to kill Mark Antony, and Quintus is told to leave by Cassius. Mark Antony eventually leaves the house, but before departing, he slashes Quintus in the throat, killing him.
