Cassius comes across Brutus ordering one of his entourage to erase graffiti depicting Brutus assassinating Caesar and tells him there are many more spread across Rome. They walk into the Senate grounds and Cassius shows Brutus Caesar's new chair, which Cassius refers to as a throne. They argue when Cassius says that the future of the Republic is up to Brutus and he tells him that the citizens will only accept the death of Caesar if it is Brutus who kills him and Brutus storms out of the Senate angrily.
During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 12 Kalends of February played by Guy Henry
In the Senate, Cassius, Cimber, Casca, Marcus Tullius Cicero and Brutus are critically pointing out the new Senators created by Caesar. Cassius points out how Caesar treats Lucius like a son on purpose to rouse Brutus. Servilia and her anti-Caesar conspirators hold a meeting where they discuss how to kill Caesar. Casca is weary of attacking Caesar with Lucius Vorenus around, who Quintus Pompey calls a son of a whore and Brutus describes Lucius to Servilia. Brutus demands that Caesar's murder be committed on Senate grounds and the others agree. As Caesar is walking into the Senate, he is attacked by a group of Senators. Cassius grabs a knife and puts it in Brutus' hand and tells him to stab Caesar. After Brutus kills Caesar, Cassius declares thus ever to tyrants.
During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 1 Passover played by Guy Henry
Marcus Tullius Cicero goes to Servilia's home and congratulates Brutus, Cassius and the other assassins. When Cicero hears that Mark Antony is still alive he attempts to leave, but almost runs into Mark Antony as he enters Servilia's home. Mark Antony offers a truce, but before negotiations can commence, Mark Antony sees Quintus Pompey in the room and demands he leave due to Quintus' attempt that morning to murder him. Brutus insists that no order was made to kill Mark Antony, and Quintus is told to leave by Cassius. Mark Antony offers to Brutus and the other senators a compromise in which they are given amnesty in exchange for Caesar's will and acts to be upheld and a public funeral. Mark Antony waits outside while the conspirators discuss his offer, and while Cassius, Cicero and Servilia want to murder Mark Antony now, Brutus refuses. Brutus walks outside and tells Mark Antony his offer will be accepted. After Mark Antony's powerful eulogy is given at Caesar's funeral, Cassius and the other assassins are forced to flee Rome to avoid the angry mob.
