Background

Posca is a Greek slave of Caesar.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 1 The Stolen Eagle played by Nicholas Woodeson

After the defeat of the Gauls, Posca is in charge of selling the slaves, the Slave Trader underbids for the slaves, but Caesar wants the business done and tells Posca to sell them for the price the Slave Trader offers.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 2 How Titus Pullo Brought Down the Republic played by Nicholas Woodeson

During the winter in Gaul near the Italian border, Posca tells Caesar more troops are deserting. He warns Caesar time is running out and they must act, however Caesar reassures Posca he knows what he is doing. When Posca notices a large sum of money has been spent, Caesar tells him he has spent it to nominate Mark Antony as the people's tribune.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 4 Stealing from Saturn played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca goes to the house of Atia of the Julii and gives Castor a list of guests Caesar would like to have at his party that Atia has agreed to have for him. As Caesar is telling Posca the amount of money to use as bribes for different groups in Rome, Posca warns him that they will run out of money soon. During the party at Atia's home, Posca gets Caesar when Titus Pullo arrives with Quintus Pompey. Later on during the party, Caesar starts to have a seizure and Posca and Gaius Octavian help him into a storage closet to hide Caesar from others seeing him.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 5 The Ram has Touched the Wall played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca tells Caesar, Atia has invited him to dinner, however Caesar tells him to tell her he will not be dining with her. When the letter from Pompey arrives stating Pompey will accept the truce agreement, Posca argues that they should accept Pompey's truce while Mark Antony believes they should crush the remainder of Pompey's forces. As Caesar, Posca and Calpurnia are traveling through Rome, they come across the graffiti depicting Caesar having sex with Servilia.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 6 Egeria played by Nicholas Woodeson

When Mark Antony gives Publius Servilius his demands for the Senate, Posca gives Publius a copy of the law he is to bring forth to the Senate. When Lucius Vorenus delivers the letter from Caesar requesting assistance, Posca wakes up Mark Antony and hands it to him.

When word comes that Pompey's army is heading to Caesar's camp, Posca doesn't understand why Caesar, while outnumbered, stays to fight.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 8 Caesarion played by Nicholas Woodeson

During Caesar's meeting with Ptolemy XIII, Pothinus and Theodotus, Posca whispers to Caesar that they are lying when they say they have no idea where Cleopatra is. After Caesar is shown Pompey's head, Posca takes the head with him. The next day, Posca hands Pothinus a note listing all the debts Egypt owes to Rome. Ptolemy angrily jumps from his chair takes the note and throws it at Caesar's feet. Later, a Sentry enters Caesar's office and tells him a messenger has arrived from Ptolemy. Lucius Septimius enters and hands Posca a note that Posca reads aloud and which lists Lucius Septimius as the killer of Pompey Magnus.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 10 Triumph played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca coaches Lucius Vorenus during his speech to the people of Lower Aventine to try and get their votes for the election. When a Heckler continuously hurls insults at Lucius and Caesar, Posca nods and the Heckler is taken away. He tries to teach Lucius about Roman laws and finally tells Lucius that the election is a sham and that he is the only real candidate. He then tells Lucius that the people crave stability and employment and not real elections at this time.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 11 The Spoils played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca goes up to Erastes Fulmen and tells him not to hire veterans to perform murders anymore.

During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 12 Kalends of February played by Nicholas Woodeson

Caesar is holding a meeting with Mark Antony, Cicero and Posca present where he is outlining his future projects. Lucius arrives and Caesar decides to make him one of the new Senators in order to please the public who have found Lucius' actions in the arena to be heroic. An exasperated Cicero protests to Caesar that not only has he allowed Gauls and Celts into the Senate but he has now made a plebeian a Senator. Later, Caesar tells Mark Antony and Posca that he made Lucius a Senator in order to have a stealth bodyguard that can follow him anywhere in the Senate. As Posca, Caesar and Mark Antony are walking into the Senate, Posca is held back by some Senators. He hears a commotion and as he tries to force his way into the building, he is knocked unconscious by Quintus Pompey.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 1 Passover played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca kneels before the dead body of Caesar. He gathers Caesar's body and places it into a cart. Mark Antony, Atia, Octavian, Octavia of the Julii and Timon arrive at Calpurnia's home and Calpurnia demands that Caesar's will be read. Posca reads the will which includes freeing Posca, giving a sum of money to the people of Rome and giving his estate to Octavian.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 2 Son of Hades played by Nicholas Woodeson

Cleopatra and Charmian arrive and Posca hands the conditions of the negotiations between Rome and Egypt to Charmian who reads it.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 4 Testudo et Lepus (The Tortoise and the Hare) played by Nicholas Woodeson

Tribune reads the casualty count to Mark Antony after the battle of Mutinae. Posca advises Mark Antony to offer surrender terms to Octavian, but Mark Antony refuses.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 6 Philippi played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca hands Octavian more names of people Mark Antony wants to kill.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 7 Death Mask played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca and Jocasta get married by an Augur. Herod has a meeting with Mark Antony and offers a bribe as a gift. Mark Antony accepts the gift to support Herod as he fights against his enemies. After the meeting, Posca asks what share he will get of Herod's gift and Mark Antony accuses him of being greedy. Posca approaches Gaius Maecenas and offers to trade information for money.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 8 A Necessary Fiction played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca and Jocasta go to the market and Posca tells Jocasta she can buy anything she wants. He then has a meeting with Maecenas where they discuss stealing a small amount from a gold shipment being brought to the Temple of Saturn by one of Lucius Vorenus' men. After the meeting where Lucius admits the gold shipment was stolen, Maecenas accuses Posca of double crossing him and stealing the gold. Posca and Jocasta then arrive in Alexandria with Mark Antony.

During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 9 Deus Impeditio Esuritori Nullus (No God Can Stop a Hungry Man) played by Nicholas Woodeson

Posca is smoking opium from a pipe when Lucius walks into the room and asks where Mark Antony is. He tells Lucius that Mark Antony is in the throne room meeting a delegation from Rome. Posca runs into the throne room and tells Mark Antony and Cleopatra that Atia and Octavia have arrived in Alexandria and they demand to have an audience with him. Lucius finds Posca and Jocasta packing and allows them to leave after telling Posca to tell Titus to kiss his children for him. On Atia and Octavia's boat, Posca and Jocasta arrive and ask to sail with them. Posca hands Octavian a scroll that is the last will and testament of Mark Antony and Cleopatra, which declares them gods and gives portions of the Eastern provinces to their children and Rome to Caesarion. Octavian has a meeting with Titus Pullo in which Posca gives Titus, Lucius' request to kiss his children.
