Major Henry West
Background
Major Henry West is an officer in the British Army. He is in charge of the soldiers at the 42nd blockade.
During the events of 28 Days Later (2002) played by Christopher Eccleston
Major West sends out a recorded message urging survivors to go to the 42nd blockade near Manchester. When Jim, Selena and Hannah arrive at the blockade, West and his men bring them to the mansion they are using as their base of operations. West has a conversation with Jim and tells him he promised his men women to keep them from committing suicide. Jim, Hannah and Selena try and escape but they are captured and Jim and Sergeant Farrell who tried to intervene are ordered to be executed. Jim returns and helps kill all of West's soldiers. As Jim, Selena and Hannah are trying to escape, West shoots Jim and Hannah drives the taxi with West in it to where the infected Private Mailer is and Private Mailer kills West.
