Bubba Zanetti
Background
Bubba Zanetti is a nomad biker and a member of Toecutter's Gang. He is second in command behind Toecutter.
During the events of Mad Max (1979) played by Geoff Parry
Bubba Zanetti arrives in New Jerusalem with the rest of the gang to recover the coffin of the Nightrider. He tells the Station Master that they are there to pick up their friend and the Station Master takes them to the Nightrider's coffin. He chases after Lair and Girl in Chevvy with the rest of the gang, and helps to destroy Lair's vehicle. He tells Toecutter that Johnny the Boy stayed behind and is sent by Toecutter to get him. He waits outside the Halls of Justice and is asked by Kid in Purple Shirt what happened to Lair's car, which is in the parking lot of the Halls of Justice. As Johnny the Boy is yelling threats at Jim Goose, Bubba Zanetti drags him away. He watches as Johnny the Boy sets Goose on fire. Bubba Zanetti accuses Johnny the Boy of lacking style when Johnny the Boy uses a shotgun to shoot a mannequin and calls him a chicken shit. He tracks Jessie down with the rest of the gang and tells May Swaisey to give them the shotgun she is pointing at them. He then drives off with the rest of the gang after Toecutter runs Jessie and Sprog over. Bubba Zanetti and Toecutter set a trap for Max and shoots Max in the leg with a pistol. As Max is reaching for his sawed off shotgun, Bubba Zanetti runs over his arm. He is warned by Toecutter to finish Max off and is shot and killed by Max when he attempts to run him over a second time.
