Crawford "the Nightrider" Montizano is a nomad biker and a member of Toecutter's Gang. He was sent to prison for killing an Main Force Patrol officer at a road block.
During the events of Mad Max (1979) played by Vincent Gil
Nightrider escapes from prison in Sun City and flees in a Pursuit Special with Nightrider's Girl. He out drives Scuttle, Jim Goose, Roop and Charlie. As he is driving into a town he barely misses running over a Toddler and then taunts Max over the radio. Max drives directly at him and the Nightrider flinches first and swerves his car. He loses his confidence and starts to cry and Max toys with him. He fails to stop and crashes into a construction site causing his vehicle to explode.
