Jim Goose

Background

Jim "Jimmy", "Jimbo" Goose is a member of the Main Force Patrol, officer number 2241, call sign Gosling 1. Goose is good friends with Max.

During the events of Mad Max (1979) played by Steve Bisley

Jim Goose is eating at Fat Nancy's and telling a story to a Tow Truck Driver when he sees Roop and Charlie and Sarse and Scuttle in pursuit of the Nightrider and Nightrider's Girl. He hops onto his motorcycle but crashes it when a Couple Towing a Camper stall in the middle of the road. He and Underground Mechanic show Max the last of the V8 Pursuit Specials. Having broken his leg from his crash, Goose rides with Max and they are called to investigate a disturbance in New Jerusalem. They see Lair running away with no pants on and come to the scene of Lair's crashed vehicle where they find Girl in Chevvy with a rope tied around her and Johnny the Boy, who they arrest. Goose is upset when Fifi tells him to release Johnny the Boy due to no one showing up at court to testify against him. He shoves the People's Observer and chases after Johnny the Boy who taunts Goose. After leaving the apartment of Singer, Goose is driving his motorcycle when the back tire seizes and he crashes. He borrows Midge's truck and as he is driving it, he crashes it when Johnny the Boy throws a rim at the windshield. The truck flips over and Goose is stuck inside of it upside down. He is then set on fire by Johnny the Boy. Goose is brought to St. George's hospital with severe burns on his body.
