The Girl
Background
The Girl is a green eyed student. She likes trains.
During the events of The Ninth Gate (1999) played by Emmanuelle Seigner
The Girl goes to a lecture on Demons and Medieval Litterature by Boris Balkan. She follows Dean Corso to the public library and sees him at Bernie's book store. She sees him on a train heading to Portugal and confronts Liana's Bodyguard, who menacingly approaches Dean after leaving Victor Fargas' mansion. She is reading How to Win Friends and Influence People when Dean notices her once more. In the early morning she wakes him up and tells him he needs to go to Fargas' mansion and she drives him there on her motorcycle. They find Fargas dead and then take a flight together to Paris. She saves Dean once more when Liana's Bodyguard attacks him. She steals a car and goes with Dean to follow Liana Telfer and her Bodyguard to Liana's chateau. They break in and are forced by gunpoint to walk into the basement to be shot by Liana's Bodyguard. Dean trips the Bodyguard and The Girl watches and smiles as he beats him to death with his shoe. She then prevents Dean from helping Liana who is being strangled by Balkan. After Dean watches Balkan burn to death, The Girl has sex with him and tells him one of the engravings Balkan used in the ritual was a forgery. She then leaves him a hint to visit Pablo and Pedro Ceniza and disappears.
