Background

Rovers are bands of marauders that roam the post-apocalyptic landscape.

During the events of A Boy and His Dog (1975)

Vic and Blood watch as a group of Rovers leave after killing a woman. When Vic and Blood follow Quilla June Holmes into a gymnasium, a group of Rovers and their dog also track her there. Most of them flee when they hear Vic fake the noise of a Screamer while the rest are killed by Vic, Blood and Quilla.
