R-6 Commander is a representative of The Ruler on the Moon.
During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 4 Nightmare Typhoon played by John Crawford
R-6 Commander tells R-6 Pilot to check the local pressure. R-6 Commander then drops a series of bombs into the clouds, causing torrential weather. R-6 Pilot asks R-6 Commander how many more bombs they have to drop. R-6 Commander tells him three and then they will wait for Earth's answer to The Ruler's ultimatum. The Ruler contacts R-6 Commander and tells him to bomb the east coast of the United States. R-6 Commander drops bombs over New York City, but his spaceship is then intercepted by Commando Cody's rocket. They use their ship's weapons to attack each other and Commando Cody destroys R-6 Commander and R-6 Pilot's ship, killing them.
