Background
Newborn is a mixture of human and Xenomorph DNA. It has both male and female physical attributes.
During the events of Alien: Resurrection (1997)
The Newborn is born from the womb of a Xenomorph Queen. It decides that Ripley rather than the queen is its mother and it kills the queen. After it hears Gediman talking it then goes towards him and chews on his head. The Newborn chases Ripley onto the Betty and kills Distephano. When Ripley goes to help Call, who is cornered by the Newborn they both hug and the Newborn looks at her in sadness as Ripley uses her diluted acid blood to cause a hole in a window of the Betty and the Newborn is pulled screaming into space.
