Xenomorph
Background
The Spore is the first stage of and house a Facehugger. Once the embryo from the Facehugger develops enough, it bursts from the chest of the host, killing the hoist. The young Xenomorphs then quickly grow into adulthood. They are 2 meters in length and weigh 4 kilograms. Xenomorphs are led by a Xenomorph Queen. Xenomorphs can learn and can detect when one of their immature kind is inside of a person.
During the events of Alien (1979)
The Xenomorph erupts from the chest of Kane, killing him. It then hunts the crew down one by one. It kills Brett when he is searching for Jones and Dallas when he tries to shepherd it in the air ducts. While Parker and Lambert are collecting supplies for the escape ship, the Xenomorph ambushes and kills them. When Ripley sets the Nostrom to self destruct, the Xenomorph hides on the escape ship. Ripley finds it when she is preparing to go into hibernation and shoots it out into space. The Xenomorph tries to climb back into the escape ship, however Ripley turns on the rocket engines and the Xenomorph is shot into space for good.
During the events of Aliens (1986)
The xenomorphs capture members of the colony of Hadleys Hope and cocoon them to be attacked by Facehuggers. They also ambush and kill the Colonial Marine squad that is sent to investigate what happened to the colony, with the exception of Corporal Hicks.
During the events of Alien 3 (1992)
A Xenomorph erupts from an oxen and then proceeds to kill the convicts on Fiorina 161. When it finds Ripley it avoids killing her due to her carrying an immature Queen Matriarch in her chest. The xenomorph is killed when it is trapped in a foundry and covered in molten lead and then water, causing it to explode.
During the events of Alien: Resurrection (1997)
A pair of xenomorphs attack one of their own in order to use its acid blood to melt the floor. They then proceed to release the other xenomorphs and attack the crew of the Auriga and Betty. They all die when the Auriga crash lands on Earth.
