As Emma Toll and Dayday are walking home, Mrs. Toll tells Emma and Dayday that she is late and accidentally runs into Mr. Mitchell. Dayday notices that Mr. Mitchell has a large bandage on his neck and Mr. Mitchell tells them that he is feeling under the weather. Emma asks him if he has met the Brauns and he tells them that they stopped by to introduce themselves at his house, which was the same night he started to feel sick.
