During the events of Siege (1983) played by Beth Lachance

May 29, 1981, Goose is placing barbed wire around his house when Goose's Wife tells him she made sandwiches. Goose goes to eat a sandwich, but then gets mad when he finds out Goose's Wife gave their children the last of the butter. Goose's Wife goes to her pottery wheel and Goose turns on the television which has a news report on the Halifax Police strike. Goose builds a makeshift weapon made of wood, sheet metal and nails. The news report continues that many bars and clubs have shut their doors for the evening in fear of potential lawless elements. Rosie drives up to Goose's house and starts honking his horn. As Goose is about to leave, Goose's Wife doesn't believe that he and the boys are going to a bar as everything is probably closed. She accuses him of going to do something bad with Cabe and when she doesn't get out of Goose's way, he destroys all of her pottery.
