Consuella
Background
Consuella is an Immortal from Vortex 4. She has an administrative position within the Immortals. Consuella is immortal and has psychic powers.
During the events of Zardoz (1974) played by Charlotte Rampling
When Zed is first captured, Consuella wants him put to death however May convinces the other Immortals to let him live so she can study him. Consuella feels Zed is a brute who is motivated by violence. During a disagreement with Friend for using Zed as his helper doing his chores, Consuella again calls for the death of Zed, but is outvoted. When she finds May about to have sex with Zed she accuses her of bestiality and attacks Zed with psychic powers. When Zed escapes she forms a group of Immortals who hunt down Zed, but when she realizes she has become what she accused him of, she agrees to help him. After Zed destroys the immortality of the Immortals and the protective walls of Vortex 4, Consuella escapes with Zed from the Exterminators who were led to Vortex 4 by Zed. Consuella and Zed have a son and then die of old age.
