Adrian Paley
Background
Adrian Paley runs an inn called Sandcastle Island on Sand Piper Island, Washington. His daughter is Renee Paley and his son is Jack Paley.

After Jack's death, Renee asks Adrian if he is okaying seeing St. John and Mike Rivers. As Adrian is looking at a photo of himself and Jack, Colenso walks into Adrian's inn with Valdez and they point rifles at Adrian. St. John, Mike and Renee return to shore and she finds Adrian tied to a chair. Colenso and Valdez point their rifles at Mike and St. John and General Miguel Butarra walks down the stairs. A storm rolls in and Valdez and Colenso start searching the house for the real diamonds. Butarra sees Renee wearing Jack's necklace and St. John tells him that he gave it to her. Butarra accuses St. John of coming to look for the diamonds and threatens to kill Renee. St. John tells Butarra that he knows where the diamonds are and Butarra has Valdez go with St. John to retrieve the diamonds. The power goes out and Butarra shoots Adrian. Butarra tells Colenso to look for Valdez. Butarra grabs Renee and threatens to shoot her and Jason Locke shoots him, causing Butarra to crash into a butterfly display. The display breaks open, revealing a bunch of diamonds inside and Butarra dies. St. John and Adrian go fishing and talk about Jack.
