Background

Vic "Albert" was born in 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona, one year before WWIV. He and Blood formed a bond that developed into being able to read each other's thoughts. As a team Vic hunts for food, while Blood smells for women. While being of average intelligence, having simplistic emotional responses and being overly aggressive, Vic was an excellent shot with a pistol or rifle.

Vic and Blood wander around the remains of Phoenix, Arizona scrounging for food and looking for women. Blood wants to go search for the fabled Over the Hill, but Vic always has an excuse not to go. After stealing a bag of canned goods from Fellini, Vic and Blood go into a small camp and trade cans of food in order to watch a movie. While sitting in the theater Blood smells a woman and when she leaves they follow her to the remains of a gymnasium. Vic goes down into the gymnasium where he finds Quilla June Holmes and tells her he is going to rape her. Vic, Blood and Quilla are forced to hide when Blood tells Vic that a group of Rovers with a dog must have also detected Quilla was in the gymnasium, because they are gathering outside. Vic, Blood and Quilla fight off the Rovers and then hide as a group of Screamers come into the gymnasium. During the night Vic and Quilla has sex and she tries to convince him to go with her to Topeka which is Down Under. Vic doesn't want to go and in the morning she knocks him unconscious with a flashlight. Vic goes after Quilla, but Blood begs him not to and once they reach the door to Down Under, Vic and Blood tell each other goodbye. Vic goes down into Dow Under which is a huge underground bunker but is immediately captured by Michael. He is brought before the Committee consisting of Lou Craddock, Mez and Doctor Moore and told he will be used to impregnate the women of Topeka as the men are infertile. Vic is strapped to a gurney and married off to the young women one by one as a vile of his sperm is collected for each woman. Quilla frees Vic and then he, Quilla, A Boy and His Dog|Gary, Ken and Richard break into the Committee's office to get Vic's weapons. When Vic refuses to help Quilla she tells him that she brought him to Topeka to use him. Vic and Quilla run away to the surface after killing Michael. Once they reach the surface, Vic finds Blood almost dead and cooks up Quilla to him. Vic and Blood then leave for Over the Hill.
