Zula
Background
Zula is a member of a bandit group. In her tribe, both men and women are fighters. Zula is afraid of rats.
During the events of Conan the Destroyer (1984) played by Grace Jones
After a failed attempt at banditry that saw the other bandits in her group killed, Zula is being harassed by the villagers and Village Heckler. She is seen by Princess Jehnna, who implores Conan to help her. Conan cuts the rope tying her ankle to a stake and after beating back the villagers, she rides away towards where Conan's group went. She is stopped by Bombaata, who tells her to go away, but after she fights him, Conan intervenes and tells her she can join the group. They go to the tower of Toth-Amon and Conan is forced to fight a Man Ape. After Jehnna retrieves a jewel they head to the tower where the Horn of Dagoth is kept. On their journey, Zula teaches Jehnna if she wants a man she should grab him and take him. After killing The Leader and his Temple Guards, Zula, Conan, Malak and Akiro the Wizard are forced to dig their way out of a tunnel when Bombaata causes it to collapse. Zula and the others return to Shadizar to prevent Jehnna's sacrifice. Right before the Grand Vizier is about to cut Jehnna's throat, Zula throws her pointed staff and impales and kills him with it. Zula helps Conan fight the now hideous Dagoth, and Dagoth is finally killed when Conan rips its horn out. The next day Zula is promoted by the now Queen Jehnna to be the Captain of the Guards.
