John is the Mayor in Noyo, California.
During the events of Humanoids from the Deep (1980)
At the 75th Annual Noyo Salmon Festival, The Mayor introduces Susan Drake, Charles Borden and James Edwards from Canco to the locals. Hank the Sheriff tells The Mayor that all the dogs on the pier were killed except for Johnny Eagle's dog. The Mayor asks Piano if she can play some up temp music during the Salmon Festival carnival and is present during the attack on the pier by the large amount of Humanoids.
