Background

Stefano is a merchant in Salerno, Italy.

During the events of Theatre Macabre: Season 1 Episode 15 Decameron played by Jerzy Oblamski

Pepino tells Ruggiero to pay him the money he owes and grabs Ruggiero, but Stefano stops him and tells him that he is better than Ruggiero. Later, Stefano and Pepino are walking home when they see a chest and take it home. During the night, Ruggiero comes out of the trunk and starts to kiss and caress the legs of Stefano and Pepino's wives. Stefano and Pepino wake up and drag Ruggiero to the Judge and accuse Ruggiero of trying to steal from them. After Rossina tells the Judge what really happened, he frees Ruggiero and sentences Pepino and Stefano.
