Popcorn snakes occur when Klown popcorn metamorphoses into snake like creatures.
During the events of Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)
Popcorn left on Debbie Stone's clothes grow into Popcorn Snakes as she is taking a shower. Once they are fully grown they attack Debbie, forcing her to run away.
