Background

Phillip Maurice runs Bear Trap Productions, Solon Investments and Wilton Finance Company. He likes orange juice. In 1978 he offered a KGB decoder which the Soviets bought back and during the bidding sold out Michael Coldsmith Briggs III's agent, Sonya.

During the events of Airwolf: Season 1 Episode 6 One Way Express played by Henry Darrow

Phillip watches as Vinnie crashes the helicopter trying to perform a stunt for a film. Phillip then tells Simon Sayes to hire Dominic to perform the stunt. He and Simon have a meeting with Dominic in which Dominic promises to pay the costs of the film if he can't perform the stunt and after the meeting, Phillip tells Simon to contact Stringfellow Hawke and also offer him the job. Phillip meets with Edward Stoner who promises to give him the information on the schedule of a gold shipment. He and Simon then have a meeting with Hawke, who refuses to take the job from Dominic, but later agrees to do it. Phillip is provided with the gold shipment schedule by Edward and he, Simon and Vinnie meet with Hawke. They fly towards a train and when Hawke asks where the camera equipment is, Phillip pulls a gun on him. He then has Hawke fly and land on a semi trailer. Simon gets out and pulls a gun on the Truck Driver. Phillip is about to shoot Hawke when Hawke jumps out of the helicopter. After Vinnie has put ten bars of gold inside of the helicopter, Phillip tells him to fly off and they leave Simon. As they are flying, Hawke and Dominic fly towards them in Airwolf. Vinnie is forced to land the helicopter and he and Phillip get out. Hawke blows up their helicopter and they are forced to stay put until they are arrested.
