Mayor is the mayor of Los Angeles, California.
During the events of The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988) played by Nancy Marchand
During a news conference the Mayor discusses the upcoming visit by Queen Elizabeth II. The day after Vincent Ludwig's apartment burns down, Frank Drebin and Ed Hocken are sitting in the Mayor's office explaining why Frank illegally entered Vincent's apartment and the Mayor tells Frank he is not to show up at the Queen's reception. When Frank assaults Queen Elizabeth II at her reception, the Mayor fires Frank from Police Squad. However once Frank saves Queen Elizabeth II at the baseball game, the Mayor reinstates Frank into Police Squad with a promotion to Captain.
