Mary Reefer Madness
Background
Mary Lane is a student at Lakeside High School. Her brother is Jimmy and her mother is Mrs. Lane. Mary is dating Bill.

Mary and Bill go to her house to study and are reenacting a scene from Romeo and Juliet when they are interrupted by Mrs. Lane. She goes to look for Bill after not seeing him for a few days and is told by Kenny that Bill hasn't been around. A pair of cops come to her house asking about a hit and run driver and she lies and tells them that she had her car all day when the pedestrian was struck. She eventually goes to look for Jimmy and is told by the Soda Jerk that he is at Mae's place and she is given Mae's address. She goes to Mae's apartment and is told by Ralph that Jimmy went to drop off Agnes, but he should be back soon. Ralph then offers her a joint which she smokes. Ralph then tries to rape Mary, and Mary is shot and killed while Jack is struggling with Bill, who had started to fight Ralph after he saw him kissing Mary.
