Logan Logan's Run
Background
Logan 5 is a member of the Sandmen. He lives in a Domed City.

Logan is staring at the newborn babies in the nursery when he wonders if one of them is the next Logan. He and Francis 7 then go to watch a Lastday Group at carrousel. Logan gets a call on his communication device that there is a Runner, and he leaves to catch the Runner. He and Francis find and taunt the Runner before killing him. That night he orders a sexual partner and Jessica 6 appears at his apartment. She tells him she placed herself on the circuit on mistake and questions the point of carrousel. She then leaves when Francis arrives with two women. The next day while turning in items found on the Runner, the Dome Computer questions Logan on his knowledge about Sanctuary. It then sends him on a mission to find Sanctuary and shortens his life clock. He talks to Jessica and asks her to take him to see her friends so that he can go to Sanctuary. As they are on their way, Logan gets a call about a Runner and he and Jessica head towards the Cathedral. They are confronted by Billy and a group of Cubs who threaten them, but are scared off when Logan pulls out his gun. Logan finds The Woman Runner and lets her go after she tells him she doesn't know anything about Sanctuary. Logan goes back and decides to get a new face and is forced to kill Doc, who tries to kill Logan with the plastic surgery machine's lasers. Jessica finally agrees to take him to Sanctuary and they run away from Francis who is chasing them. They make it into a secret room and are told by the group how to enter Sanctuary and are forced to flee again when a group of Sandmen break in and start shooting everyone. Logan and Jessica continue to run around the underground portion of the city until they take an elevator up into an ice cave. They meet Box, who shows them the other humans and they are shocked to see a wall of frozen people. Logan and Box fight and a portion of the roof collapses and Logan and Jessica run outside the cave into the outside where they see the sun for the first time. They walk until they get to the ruins of Washington, D.C. While searching the Capitol Building, they meet Old Man. Francis grabs Jessica and he and Logan fight. Logan kills Francis and then they bury him. They decide to go back to the Domed City to tell the others and decide to bring Old Man with them. Logan and Jessica sneak back into the city and yell at the people they don't have to die at 30, but are ignored and eventually caught by Sandmen. Logan is brought in front of the Dome Computer and interrogated about Sanctuary, but he causes a malfunction in the computer when he tells it there is no Sanctuary. Logan and Jessica break free and flee the city after Logan shoots the computer. They then hug and watch as the people from the city surround Old Man.
