Library Ghost is ghost haunting the main branch of the New York Public Library in New York City, New York.
During the events of Ghostbusters (1984) played by Ruth Oliver
As a Librarian turns a corner she sees Library Ghost and screams. Later, the Ghostbusters find the Library Ghost and their initial plan is to talk with the ghost, but it shushes Dr. Peter Venkman. They then decide to charge at it, but it transforms into an even scarier form and they run away.
