Background
Kothoga was believed to be the son of Satan and was used by the Xinxera tribe to vanquish their enemies.
During the events of The Relic (1997)
The kothoga is John Whitney transformed. It first killed the crew of the Santos Morales and then used the tunnel system to start killing people within the Field Museum of Natural History. It still retains some memories of its past as it recognizes Dr. Margo Green. The kothoga is about to kill Dr. Green when she sets the lab and it on fire and the kothoga burns to death.
