Katherine
Background
Katherine "Katy" Rose is a recent graduate from college. She is a member of and lives in the Phi Theta sorority house.

Katherine is having an argument with her mother about Katherine moving back in with her parents when Vicki asks Katherine if she can stay an extra few days in order help decorate the sorority house for a party. Katherine is drinking with Jeanie, Liz, Diane, Morgan and Stevie when Mrs. Slater opens their door and tells them they can't have a party and they must leave the house. She disagrees with the idea to prank Mrs. Slater and watches as Vicki forces Mrs. Slater into the pool by gunpoint. Katherine wants to call the cops and angrily walks away when the other sisters decide to hide the murder of Mrs. Slater. Katherine goes into the attic above Mrs. Slater's closet and finds it full of toys and a child's bed. After her friends go missing Katherine calls the number engraved on the medical alert bracelet she finds at the location Jeanie was attacked. Dr. Beck answers and he tells her to stay in the house. After they find Mrs. Slater's body in Liz' van Dr. Beck injects Katherine with a sedative. Dr. Beck tells her he is going to use her as bait to attract Eric, but Katherine manages to get away. Katherine tries to use the jack in the box to get Eric to climb up the attic ladder, however he is already in the attic and he attacks her wearing a duplicate of the costume worn by the jack in the box. Katherine shoots at Eric using Rick's gun, however the remaining bullets are blanks. Katherine grabs a doll and rips off its head. She then uses the wooden neck stump to repeatedly stab Eric, causing him to fall down the attic ladder. Katherine lies down on the ground and takes a breath while Eric who appeared dead opens his eyes once more.
