James "Jim", "Jimmy" R. Oshiro works with Top Secret intelligence for the United States Army in California. He is married to Carol Oshiro and has two sons and a daughter. Jimmy was a helicopter pilot in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Archangel asks them to think of something from their past that might explain things and insinuates it may be something they don't like to think about. After their families are rescued, an at the Condor Squadron 135, Bartender brings everyone a drink as Dominic relays the events after he was pulled from the van and how it was Caitlin O'Shannessy's idea to leave the kidnapped families hidden in the trees and everyone cheers.
