Elbow Johnson is introduced to Eddie after Eddie wins playing the slots at the Primadonna Casino. He buys Eddie a drink and then invites him to Virginia City, in Silverdale County with him and Bar Girl. He drives Eddie to the Union Brewery Saloon and defends one of Alta's Girls, when Eddie accuses her of stealing money from him.
