Dr. Oliver
Background
Dr. Oliver is a world-renowned archaeologist. She is a follower of Goth. Dr. Oliver went to Linden High School but went crazy in 1966 and broke into the school. She has a cobra tattoo on her right forearm.
During the events of Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Season 1 Episode 9 The Tale of the Sorcerer's Apprentice played by Emma Stevens
At Linden High School in 1966, Dr. Oliver sneaks around the high school and then puts a pouch in a metal basket and drops it into a hole in the floor. In the present at Linden High School, in World Cultures class, Dr. Oliver gives a guest lecture. During her lecture she explains what archaeology is and shows the class some artifacts including a staff that was recently excavated from a Babylonian sorcerer's temple. She says the staff belonged to Goth, who was an evil magician that enslaved millions. She continues that writings indicate following Goth will lead to incredible fortune, while crossing Goth will lead to destruction. After class, Dean goes to talk with Dr. Oliver. She lets Dean handle the different artifacts and while Dean is holding up Goth's staff, the ruby eyes of the cobra headed staff suddenly glow.
Later, Dean creates a Goth cult at school and tries to resurrect Goth, but Alix manages to stop Goth's resurrection. After the failure, Dr. Oliver walks into the room and tells Goth that they have failed, but she planted jewels in high schools all over the country and reveals herself to be the student that went crazy.
