Background

Col. Arias is a Colonel in the Mexican Air Force assigned to Regimento Once de Infateria, and controls the area around the Sonora Desert.

During the events of Airwolf: Season 1 Episode 4 Bite of the Jackal played by Julio Medina

Mitchell Bruck goes to Col. Arias headquarters and asks him about the status of Dominic. After Stringfellow Hawke in Airwolf is forced to retreat, Col. Arias tells Mitchell he will send his men to find Airwolf in the morning, but Mitchell tells him to wait and Hawke will come to them to save Dominic. Col. Arias watches as Hawke kills Mitchell and his forces and puts him arms up in surrender. Hawke then flies off quickly, dusting Col. Arias.
