Al is a police officer in the Police Squad which is a special division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Al works in both the research department and as a field detective for Police Squad.
During the events of The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988) played by Tiny Ron
When Frank Drebin and Ed Hocken visit the research lab Al is eating a banana. He also helps to prevent the assassination of Queen Elizabeth II.
