Arborian Priest is the high priest of the Treeman of the planet Arboria. He leads the initiation ceremony.
During the events of Flash Gordon (1980) played by John Osborne
Arborian Priest leads the initiation in which a Young Treeman is stung by the Woodbeast and asks to be killed versus becoming crazy. When Flash Gordon is tricked by Fico and Prince Barin into entering the sacred Tree area, the Arborian Priest tells him he must participate in the initiation.
