Background
Apathetics are Immortals who have lost the will to live.
During the events of Zardoz (1974)
Friend shows Zed the Apathetics, who are still fed by the other Immortals. While Zed is hiding he is surrounded by a group of Apathetics. One Apathetic takes a drop of sweat from him, tastes it and then passes it to the others. The Apathetics then get back their vigor and proceed to have sex and kill. The Apathetics are killed along with the other Immortals when Zed removes their immortality and the Exterminators attack Vortex 4.
