Background
Old Scientist is an Immortal from Vortex 4. He along with a group of other scientists created the Tabernacle and Vortex 4 in order to protect the people during the apocalypse. Old Scientist is now a Renegade.
During the events of Zardoz (1974) played by Christopher Casson
Friend introduces Zed to the Old Scientist when Zed wants to know a way to kill the Immortals. The Old Scientist tells Zed about the Tabernacle. Once Zed has figured out how to make the Immortals mortal again he goes to the Old Scientist. Old Scientist then dies peacefully in bed.
