Background
Hawkmen live in a palace floating above a vortex. Their leader is Prince Vultan. The Hawkmen are rivals of the Ardentians.
During the events of Flash Gordon (1980) played by Andrew Bradford, Bertram Adams, Terry Forrestal, Mike Potter, John Sullivan, Eddie Stacey, John Lees, Roy Scammell
Prince Vultan, Vultan's Daughter, Luro, Biro, and a group of Hawkmen arrive on Mongo to give tribute to The Emperor Ming. After Klytus is killed by Flash Gordon, Prince Vultan tells the Hawkmen to flee the palace. Later they help Flash attack the War Rocket Ajax.
