Lucius Septimius is sent by [[Theodotus]] to bring a letter to [[Caesar]].  Lucius arrives at Caesar's camp and hands [[Posca]] the letter.  Posca then reads the letter aloud which identifies Lucius Septimius as the murderer of Pompey Magnus.  Lucius is then killed and has his head put on a spike outside the palace.

Lucius Septimius

Background

Lucius Septimius is a former Centurion of the 4th legion 3rd cohort and served with Pompey Magnus in Spain.


During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 7 Pharsalus played by David Kennedy

When Pompey and his family arrive in Egypt, Lucius greets Pompey. After a brief period of small talk, Lucius stabs Pompey in the stomach and then cuts off his head.
