At Susan Jeremy's house in 1961 on Valentine's Day, Susan and Young Dave are playing. Harry drops off a letter at Susan's front door and knocks on the door. Susan takes the letter and opens the letter and she and Dave laugh at it and Dave crumples it up and throws it away. Susan gets some cake and when she returns she finds Dave dead hanging from the coat rack.
