Background
Santini is the governor of New York. He and Simonson were principal partners in the law firm Simonson, Borden and Santini. He is married to Mrs. Santini.
During the events of Soylent Green (1973) played by Whit Bissel
Santini and Mrs. Santini take their children to a tree refuge. While he is there, Donovan visits him and tells him that Thorn refused to close the Simonson case and talked with The Priest that Simonson confessed to. Santini then tells Donovan to take care of it, but not to tell him the details.
