Preacher is part of a storm chaser team run by Jo.
During the events of Twister (1996) played by Scott Thomson
Preacher is changing the filter in his car when Bill arrives with Melissa. He then goes with the rest of Jo's team as they chase tornadoes. A tornado hits while the team is staying at the Galaxy Drive-In and everyone takes cover. While Preacher grabs for a loose hose, a piece of metal hits him in the head. He then celebrates with the rest of the team when Jo and Bill successfully deploy Dorothy.
