Newt's Father is a wildcatter on the planet LV426. He is married to Newt's Mother and is the father of Newt and her brother.
During the events of Aliens (1986) played by Jay Benedict
Newt's mother and father are sent by Burke to go explore the area near the location of the crash site of the alien vessel. Newt's father and mother leave her and Timmy to go search the ship. While exploring the ship, Newt's father is attacked by a Facehugger.
