Detective is a police detective in Amityville, New York.
During the events of The Amityville Haunting (2011) played by Casey Campbell
Detective comes to the house and tells Douglas Benson and Virginia Benson that the blood found was human. He tells them that the police received a letter stating that Ronald DeFeo Jr. wasn't the murderer of his family, but his sister was. Before leaving, he asks them if they knew about the history of the house, why they moved into it.
