The Color Out of Space is an otherworldly being that has the ability to transform the flora and fauna around it to something more suitable to where it came from.
During the events of Color Out of Space (2019)
The Color crashes into the farm of Nathan and Theresa as a meteorite. After a lightening storm, a portion of it hides in their well and starts to spread its influence on the land. After spreading to most of the creatures in the area and infecting them, it eventually has enough power from feeding off of them to return to its world, which it briefly shows to Ward in a mind image.
