Robert Kennedy is a resident of Los Angeles, California. Her husband is Sam, her children are Stacey, Melanie, Pauley, and Lil Sam. Her parents are Bonnie and Robert and her siblings are Robert Jr., and Lisa. Her sister-in-law is Hilary and her niece is Alexandria. Alex's cousin is Money Mike.

During the events of Johnson Family Dinner (2008) played by Jai Lynnette Roque

On Sunday after church, Alex and her family arrive at her parent's house and go to see Alexandria. After Robert Jr. brings up the failure of their restaurant, Alex comforts Sam and tells him that they should open another restaurant. All the women decide to do a shopping day next to Stacey's college. Lil Sam yells that dinner is ready and at dinner, Dad starts off by giving thanks followed by the rest of the family. Alex announces that she and Sam are going to open another restaurant. Robert Jr. gets up to get some wine and goes back to the table and raises a toast to Sam and Alex and says may their new restaurant not be like their old one and that it be a success. A fight breaks out in the kitchen between Robert Jr. and Sam. Before Stacey leaves, Sam and Alex give her a gas card. Lisa tells Alex that Hilary wants to divorce Robert Jr. probably due to his cheating. Alex, Sam and their family then leave.
