Muriel
Background
Muriel is a Grand Witch and has the ability to make her face appear normal.
During the events of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) played by Famke Janssen
Muriel approaches Tracker William, Tracker Jonathan, Mute Tracker and Gamekeeper in their camp and ask them what they are doing in the forest. When they tell her they are looking for children, she has the Gamekeeper's dogs attack and kill Tracker William. She then pulls out Tracker Jonathan's brain and has Mute Tracker ripped apart by tree branches. Muriel then approaches Gamekeeper and forces him to eat grubs. She returns to the Witches' camp and asks Horned Witch and Red Haired Witch if everything is prepared. They bring her a boy and after forcing him to eat a concoction, she cuts his head off and serves his remains to Horned Witch and Red Haired Witch. They test the magic spell and Horned Witch is able to resist fire for a short period of time. Muriel goes into the town of Augsburg, Germany to retrieve the last child for the spell and Horned Witch, who had been captured. She breaks into Sheriff Berringer's jail and attacks Gretel and forces Jackson to blow his brains out. While Hansel and Gretel are searching their childhood home, Muriel tells them the history of their parents and then stabs Hansel and kidnaps Gretel. She then goes back to the Witches' camp where a large amount of Witches have gathered. Hansel attacks the camp and before Muriel can stab Gretel, Edward punches her, but she manages to knock Edward off the cliff and she flies away. Hansel, Mina and Ben follow Muriel to the remains of the Candy Witch's home where Muriel ambushes them. She gets into a witch fight with Mina and stabs her before running into the house. Muriel is then killed fighting Hansel and Gretel when they use the end of a shovel to cut her head off.
