Background

Dancing Woman is a ghost whose life essence was absorbed by Master Raymond and is now a part of the walls of his house.

During the events of Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Season 2 Episode 8 The Tale of the Whispering Walls

Claire Dickens and Andrew Dickens enter the tavern near The Whispering Inn. Claire tells them that they came from the house in the woods, and she thinks Louise Lam is lost there. Elegant Lady offers them punch. Dancing Woman tells them that Louise will be fine once the sun sets, but Elegant Woman says that isn't true. Dancing Woman says it is Leap year and Dancing Man says it is a full moon, which is why they are there. Elegant Lady tells Claire that she reminds her of her daughter and Jukebox Man tells Claire that Dancing Woman and Dancing Man are just pulling their chain. Claire asks who lives in the house and Jukebox Man says the better question is who the house is living in. Brush Salesman says Raymond owns the house and will own it for many years to come and then offers to sell them a brush. Claire and Andrew then leave the tavern. They enter Raymond's house and hear whispering and laughing coming from the walls. As they walk in the upstairs hallway, the patrons from the tavern appear in the once empty picture frames.
