Hoppy

Background

Hoppy is an African Grey Parrot. He is owned by Danny St. Clair. His previous owner Julie Cassidy taught him different words and phrases.

During the events of It Waits voiced by Michael Bell

Hoppy acts as the early warning system for Danny St. Clair when the Creature approaches. After one of the Creature's attacks, Danny lets Hoppy loose and tells him to fly away until it is safe. Later when Danny is in her apartment bed, Hoppy flies into her bedroom window and onto Danny's fingers.
