Detailed Synopsis

Abigail Ashe is half-heartedly playing the spinet piano when Peter Ashe walks into her room and tells her that he is sending her to stay with Mr. Ashford during Captain Flint's trial. He asks him if he is afraid that she will speak the truth in defense of Flint. Jenks argues with Captain Charles Vane over Vane's plan to rescue Flint. Jenks asks Vane what he is supposed to tell the crew who want to leave once Vane goes shore and Vane tells him to tell them that with a skeleton crew, they will be captured and killed. Billy Bones tells John Silver that there is a difference between Vane rescuing Flint to stop Flint from becoming a trophy and Vane saving Flint. Vane asks Billy to convince his men to not start a fight while Vane is gone and promises not to kill Flint's crew after he gets Flint. As Vane is walking away, Billy tells him that Vane's current plan will not work, but he has something that may help. The Town Crier tells the people of Charles Town of Flint's villainy. Peter walks to Flint and tells him that Kensington will make a spectacle out of Flint's trial and if Flint signs a confession of his crimes, Flint will be executed privately. As Peter is talking, the body of Miranda Barlow is brought into the town square in a coffin. Peter offers to have Miranda buried with proper respects and Flint asks Peter if he betrayed Thomas Hamilton, Miranda and Flint for a bribe or out of cowardice and Peter doesn't answer him.

The Town Crier continues to tell the crowd of Flint's murders of their men and women and how he and Miranda attempted to murder Peter. The townspeople then throw vegetables at Miranda's open coffin. Eme walks into Eleanor Guthrie's office as Frasier and Mrs. Mapleton argue about the situation. Eme then realizes that Eleanor is missing. Idelle tells Max that word on the street is that Eleanor was given to the Navy by Captain Benjamin Hornigold. Max wonders if Eleanor will be tried for piracy. Featherstone finally tells the crew of their mission to get the Urca gold. Rackham asks Anne Bonny why she came back and she tells him that she realized that they are two-halves of one person. Yardley asks Jenks what their chances are if they try and flee and Jenks, tells him that with their skeleton crew, their chances are slim. Vincent overhears them talking and tells Yardley he knows some who may be able to help them. Billy tells Silver that he has eight votes against Mr. Scott as quartermaster. Yardley has Baymen Lieutenant grab Silver and Flint's crew stand up to block them from leaving with Silver. Billy headbutts Yardley and a fight breaks out, but Silver is dragged away.

Kensington shows the crowd the evidence against Flint and asks Flint if he has anything to say in his defense. Flint says that the only thing he regrets is believing that he and Peter could come to reason. A Militia Guard walks up to Peter with a handcuffed Vane. Vane tells him that he has testimony in support of Flint and it is from Abigail's journal, which is handed to Peter. Kensington tells Peter that he may destroy the journal at his own peril, but no matter what, Flint will hang. Eleanor goes to the tavern and sees a dummy made of Eleanor with a sign around its neck saying Good Riddance. She walks into Eleanor's office and tells Frasier that she heard Captain Naft and Captain Lawrence's crews fled when they heard Eleanor was captured. Max offers to buy the tavern from Frasier. Silver is brought to Jenks who is sitting next to Vincent. Jenks asks Silver to give him a list of ten names of crew members who might help him. Silver figures out that Jenks plans on killing all those not named and tells him no. Jenks then shoots and kills Vincent. Jenks has Silver put on a table and then starts to beat Silver's leg with a sledgehammer. A Clerk reads aloud from Abigail's journal as Flint asks Vane what his plan is. Around the same time, Vane's men start to invade the town.

Vane makes a speech and raises his hands to the air. Vane's men then start firing upon the town square with the town's own cannons. Vane and Flint attack their guards and Flint stabs Peter in the stomach and makes him look at Miranda's body. Larson tells Jenks that Vane's forces at Charles Town have started to attack the blockade ships. As Jenks is about to slit Silver's throat, Flint's crew storm into the room and Billy kills Jenks while Yardley and Baymen Lieutenant are also killed. De Groot tells the crew to raise the sails and Mr. Scott tells them to get ready to sail. Billy has the crew fire upon the blockade ships as Vane's men continue to fire upon the town. Flint and Vane get into a boat and start to row towards the Man-o'War and are fired upon by William Rhett and some militia men. The Man-o'-War opens fire on Rhett and kills him. Silver is brought to Dr. Howell who removes Silver's injured leg. Flint has Vane's men released and has the ship continue to fire upon Charles Town as a dying Peter watches. Later Silver wakes up and Flint tells him what has happened since he was unconscious and that Silver is the new quartermaster. Silver then tells Flint that Vincent lied about the Urca gold having been recovered by the Spanish. Street Kid Runner tells Max that Rackham is back and she and Idelle run to the beach where Rackham shows them all the gold they recovered.
