May Swaisey owns a farm in Australia with the help of Benno.
During the events of Mad Max (1979) played by Sheila Florence
May warns Jessie about Benno when Jessie goes down to the nearby beach. When she hears Jessie screaming, she starts to chastise Benno, but then takes Jessie into the house. She threatens Toecutter's Gang with a shotgun when they are holding Sprog hostage and then leaves with Jessie and Sprog in Jessie's van. When the van breaks down, she shoots at Toecutter's Gang, and then watches as Jessie and Sprog are run over by Toecutter.
